Flora
Product Concept 2019
I was exploring with the layering of fabric and light. Repetitive and circular fabric layers are accumulated on top of each other to control the amount of light vs. transparency through. Hence, a cyclical state is created when the chandelier is ON or OFF. When it’s OFF, the translucent fabric layers show the emergence of the cyclical loop as you look upwards. In lights ON scenario, the shadow cast reveals the layers on the floor beneath. Flora marks the cyclical journey of light through materials. As the circular fabric goes upwards, it evolves and grows in size merging one state of transparency with others. The more the layers of fabric the more light photons are bounced off, forming a playful trip that cast on walls and surroundings. Flora reflects the plan of floral petals circles and the elevation of these petals having a dynamic conversation as they flow upwards and downwards permitting some light through and bouncing off others.

Wobble
Wobble is a sculpture
that reflects the different behaviors of different pressures exerted on it. It is a rubber cast that was cast by hand in a digitally created and formed mold. A slight touch makes the whole sculpture wobble. It exhibits that form and function of the natural phenomena that can be found in wet places like the oceans.
